Effective July 1st 2018, ALL my services will have HST added.
The harmonized sales tax (HST) is a consumption tax in Canada. It is used in provinces where both the federal goods and services tax and the regional provincial sales tax have been combined into a single value added sales tax.
Until now, I have been paying the 13% HST however the services that I am keeping will have the 13% HST added to them effective July 1st.
Canadians will understand however international clients may not. Please know that there are ways to get HST back if you are not a Canadian. You can visit the Canadian Revenue Agency’s website for further details.
